All Aboard!!!
Mister Molson got his chance to ride a train. But, not just any train. He rode the same type of steam train Abraham Lincoln rode on his way to deliver the Gettysburg Address.
We went to Steam into History in New Freedom and found the staff very accommodating. Dressed in traditional garb, we felt like we stepped back into the 1800’s. Molson even got to be an engineer.
On the way to Glen Rock, the train went backward so we had a clear view of the tracks. Molson loved it!
On the way back, we got a special gift. A personal magic show since we had the outdoor car all to ourselves.
Dr. Marc Charisse did a trick with rings while reciting the entire Gettysburg Address. He also said all of his tricks were ones performed by magicians in the 1800’s.
Upon returning to the station, the staff was more than happy to get in on a photo with Mister Molson.
And we snapped a few more pictures with the train.
Thanks to all the folks at Steam into History for helping Molson complete another item on his bucket list.
