Watching a sunset has a way of putting things in perspective. It reminds us of the joy we can find everyday if we just know where to look. It reminds us how small we actually are. It is a little different everyday demonstrating that a beautiful moment, once missed, is gone forever. It also symbolizes the end of the day and passage of time. The few moments before darkness are often the most precious and fleeting.
Molson’s end of the day is creeping closer but like a sunset he is showing us how beautiful life can be right up to the end. On our trip to the mountains, we watched a sunset from the 3721 ft summit of Blackrock Mountain.
Then we headed to the beach and took the opportunity to see another sunset at sea level in Nags Head, NC.
Mister Molson’s sun may be setting but these memories will last forever.
