Mister Muddy’s incredible journey was set in motion by a dog named Mister Molson who had a bucket list. Mister Muddy was born in Houston, TX. He was rescued from Hurricane Harvey in 2017 by Agape Animal Rescue and taken to Nashville, TN. The Griffin Family was invited to Nashville to appear on the Pickler & Ben TV Show to share Mister Molson’s story. They presented Mister Muddy River at the end of the segment and we brought him to his forever home in Pennsylvania.
Muddy was somewhere between 4 and 6 months old when we brought him home. And, for months we all took turns guessing what kind of breed he was. He has a face and fur similar to a Golden Retriever, but he is about the size of a Retriever's lunch. He has a white patch on his chest, three white toes, and some black on the outside of his tail. Everyone that met him said how cute he was and asked the same question. I determined that he was one of a kind.
We have all quickly grown attached to him and he has happily taken his job as my assistant at work. We look forward to the many adventures we will share and the lessons we will teach each other.
